Hottest Home Trends I Spotted @ Market 2024!

Earlier this week, I took some time and wandered through market to check out everything new in the home decor world. I found some seriously cool stuff and couldn't wait to share with you! I’m bringing you the newest (so new that some aren’t even available online yet!!) trends and looks that are all the rage this year!

Paper Mache Vessels

  • They add a touch of personality to your shelves and tables. Their unique shapes help create that handmade organic vibe.

Curves in Furniture:

  • Curved furniture has been making a comeback, moving away from the straight lines and sharp angles of modern design. Sofas, chairs, and tables with soft curves create a more inviting feel into a room. Less edges = more family friendly too!

Texture:

  • Texture is a crucial element in interior design, and it plays a significant role in creating visual interest. Using textured materials like woven fabrics, chunky knit throws, and textured wall coverings adds depth and warmth to spaces. Mixing textures can create a balanced and visually appealing look to a room. I especially love incorporating texture because I prefer a more subtle style in regard to color— so texture keeps things interesting and unique.

Darker Toned Woods:

  • Light woods are still definitely happening, but darker tones are working their way into the spotlight now. Deep browns and blackened woods bring sophistication and coziness, making your furniture, flooring, and cabinets stand out! And don’t be afraid to mix multiple complimentary wood tones in a single space. This look is fresh and gives a collected feel to your home!

Antique-Looking Art:

  • Vintage and antique looking pieces with that perfectly aged appearance bring a sense of history and nostalgia to your walls.

Organic Elements:

  • Nature-inspired decor is a timeless trend adding indoor plants, natural fibers, and stone accents create a harmonious atmosphere, transforming your home into a tranquil retreat.

In the ever-evolving world of interior design, these trends bring a perfect blend of style and comfort to your home. But definitely remember, it's not just about following trends but creating a space that resonates with you and your family. So, dive into these happening styles but with your own personal touch. Can’t wait to share how I’ve used many of these in our new home. Happy decorating!
