Summer Home Tour: Basement Family Room

As it's gotten warmer here, we've found ourselves spending more & more time in the cooler temperatures of our basement! And the more time I spend somewhere, the more I move things around! haha. I brought the woven chairs from upstairs down here to create more of a conversation area (hopefully they'll be restocked soon!). I also finally ordered this AMAZING round accent mirror that's been on my wish list forever! It comes in 2 sizes and is on sale now! I got the 44" one-- it's sooo cool & such a statement maker! My arched mirror which was previously here (and that I also love) moved upstairs to another spot!

I also played with some different ideas for styling the console table-- loving these affordable Target lamps! The Walmart woven baskets are another new addition that are perfect for storing throw blankets or toys! The quality, texture & price are great!! Also, as you can see I'm trying alllll the little ottomans/stools in this space-- I think that is seriously my weakness. I buy all the tiny ottomans and stools, haha! They're just so versatile & cute that I can't resist!! You can see a variety of the ways I use them here. For extra living room seating, to tuck under the built in shelving, under the console table, behind the couch, etc!

Anyway, just wanted to share how this space currently looks because I actually might leave it this way for a long time I love it so much!!
