Creating a Multi-function Space with The Home Depot!

As I mentioned recently in my IG stories, my husband and I decided to take the big leap of working together! We've had this dream for over a decade & finally felt ready to take the plunge earlier this year. With the unforeseen challenges of the pandemic we certainly could have had better timing, but are still looking at this opportunity with optimism & excitement for the future despite the setbacks. We think it's important to keep a positive outlook as we move ahead with our work projects & family adjustments! I know many of you have mentioned that you and/or your spouse have had to make the change of working from home as well!

Creating a multi-person workspace was one of our first tasks to get things going. I am so grateful for the opportunity The Home Depot provided me to work with them in affordably updating our home office to create a space that better suits our family business. I designed a look that's cohesive with the rest of our home & also very functional. We opted for a "conference table" set up so multiple people can work in this space at once. It's also turned out to be a great place for our children to work as we've all been faced with homeschooling during quarantine!

One of the most exciting finds for me is this beautiful table from The Home Depot website that's only $299! We were able to get it assembled it in less than 30 minutes and it's nice & solid! I love the simple design of it because it compliments just about any chair style out there! Plus, you can leave it as is or stain it any color you'd like. I loved the natural tone of it, so left it as is! It works perfectly with the colors in my home!

Next I paired these gorgeous black woven leather chairs (also from The Home Depot) with it for some interest & contrast. I'm loving this woven mixed materials + leather rug I found as well! It has a high end look with amazing texture & subtle changes in color tone. And for the centerpiece I used a simple matte black concrete planter. I love styling planters for indoor use as oversized bowls for a minimalist, large scale look! This whole set up would also be perfect for a dining room!

If you're faced with needing to create a home workspace or working on an update for your dining room while you have more time at home, you can shop all my online finds below. There are tons of great deals to be found on The Home Depot website for any of your current home project & decor needs. Sending you each love & best wishes for good health!
